- Camper Information: Name, age, and language proficiency levels in English.
- Health & Safety Data: Mandatory disclosure of chronic illnesses, allergies, or dietary sensitivities to ensure proper care.
II. Purpose of Data Processing
We use your information strictly for camp-related operations, including:
- Safety & Medical Care: Ensuring our staff and on-site assistants can provide appropriate first-aid or emergency support.
- Educational Placement: Assigning participants to appropriate groups based on their language skills, where possible and applicable.
- Administrative Communication: Managing bookings, cancellations, refund requests, and communication with parents.
III. Confidentiality & Third Parties
- Strict Privacy: All parent-provided data is handled with the utmost confidentiality.
- No Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, or trade your personal information with third-party organisations.
- Legal Compliance: Data is managed under the legal framework of Hungarian law.
IV. Visual Media & Recording
- Recording Policy: To protect the privacy of all participants, the use of recording devices, specifically glasses equipped with cameras for audio or image capture, is strictly prohibited for the duration of the camp.
- Staff Documentation: Any official camp photography used for promotional purposes is subject to the preferences indicated on your Application Form.
V. Data Retention & Security
- Secure Storage: We implement industry-standard measures to prevent unauthorised access to digital and physical records, such as 2-Factor Authentication (2FA).
- Retention Period: Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the camp session or as required by financial and legal regulations in Hungary.
VI. Your Rights
Parents have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about them and their child.
- Request the correction of inaccurate information.
- Withdraw consent for data processing (noting that certain health and safety data is mandatory for participation).
